Shirt App FAQ 05/2021

Can I change or cancel my order?
Unfortunately, changes cannot be made after an order has been placed. 

Once your order is submitted it is sent directly to our print and fulfillment partners so we are unable to make any additional edits to your design, garment, or address. Please review your order thoroughly before checking out! If you have any questions/concerns about your design, contact us before you order (contact@shirtapp.com). We are not responsible for designs or addresses that are submitted incomplete/incorrect.  

If the shipment requires additional shipping fees because of bad information, it is the responsibility of the consumer. 

What is your return policy?
Due to the custom nature of the products, we do not accept returns. 

All questions/concerns regarding your order must be submitted to contact@shirtapp.com within 30 days of your order shipping. 

What type of printing is used?
DTG printing. Direct to Garment printing allows for 1 of 1 garments to be made at an affordable cost. There are some differences between screen printing and DTG Printing. It’s important to be mindful that when you create your designs you are viewing them on a backlit display that will show high vibrancy, your print may not look exactly as submitted as there is a variance between what you see on a display to what that will look like when printed on a garment. We recommend using lighter color designs on darker garments, dark ink will not show on a dark garment. The same recommendations apply for lighter colored garments, feel free to reach out with any questions.

When you receive your print you may notice that your garment has a faint odor or light staining when it arrives. This can be a normal occurance for DTG printing and is not cause for concern. Both the scent, and possible discoloration should be resolved after your first wash. The pretreatment of the garments is a necessary part of the DTG printing process and it ensures that your print adheres to the garment property. Refunds/returns will not be issued for this as it is part of the production process and cannot be avoided. 

What type of garments are used?
Our range of garments offered are 100% cotton and run in adult sizes. To support demand we use a variety of different, high quality manufacturers to make as many sizes and colors available and to get you your order as quickly as possible. We’re unable to guarantee or accept requests for your order to be printed on a particular brand, however we try to stay consistent in our offerings!

**In the event of inventory shortages we reserve the right to print your design on a garment comparable to our normal offerings.

**At the present time there is a shortage of larger sized garments.  We will make every effort to fulfill your order, but sizes 2X-5X may be scarcely available through the remainder of 2021. 

How can I help ensure that my final product is great quality?
Use high quality, high resolution artwork and photos for your designs. The quality of your print is highly dependent on the quality of your art. If you have any questions please reach out to contact@shirtapp.com

Do not use screenshots of photos, the quality of the original photo prints MUCH better. We recommend 300dpi (dots per inch) or higher.

When will my order be printed and shipped?
**Covid-19 has created an approximate 4-5 business day delay in addition to regular production times. Delivery dates depend on your selection during checkout. Our current delivery methods with estimations are listed below and do not include production time.

USA Delivery

Standard Delivery Estimate: 8-10 business days
Preferred Delivery Estimate: 4-8 business days
Rush Delivery Estimate: 3-6 business days

*Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will take longer than the typical mainland transit times and are estimated to be delivered within 12-15 business days.

UK Delivery

Standard delivery estimated in 6-9 business days
Preferred delivery estimated in 3-6 business days

Delivery times are not guaranteed.

How can I track my order?
You will receive a confirmation email upon placing your order. Once your order is printed and packed, you will receive a second email that includes a tracking number so you can follow the delivery status of the package. 

If you do not see your order confirmation within a few minutes after placing your order, be sure to check your spam or junk folder in case it was sent to either of those by mistake.

Please note that it may take up to 72 hours for your tracking to start showing updates after the shipment date.

What are the wash instructions?

We recommend turning each DTG printed garment inside out and washing on cold. Hang to dry is the best way to preserve your design, but you can also use a dryer on low heat.
